Backflow Testing
Backflow testing is preformed to ensure that your Double Check Valve (DCV) or Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) device is functioning properly and does not allow contaminates back into the water. Most water authorities and water districts on Long Island require that this test be performed annually. Backflow device testing, which is required by the New York State Department of Health, can only be performed by a New York State certified backflow tester. Sprinkl-Rite has several licensed testers on staff. Upon test completion, we file all the necessary paperwork with the appropriate water districts for you, and send you a copy of the paperwork filed.
